menopause can be a stressful and confusing time to manage
Menopause in the workplace
Increase work attendance, efficiency and productivity. Boost morale and improve mental & physical wellbeing of your employees.
A 2019 survey conducted by BUPA and the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development (CIPD) found that '3 in 5 menopausal women aged between 45 and 55- were negatively affected at work and that almost 900,000 women in the U.K. left their jobs over an undefined period of time because of menopausal symptoms.'*
Perimenopause and menopause can present itself in so many different ways, women are not always sure what they are experiencing and where to get help.
Supporting your employees and colleagues through this journey can have a profound impact on how they feel and approach their work on a day-to-day basis.
How can I help you
As a BANT Registered Nutritionist and Nutrigenomics Practitioner there are two ways, I offer menopause support in the workplace. The first way is to work with your employees through bespoke interactive sessions where they will have the chance to ask questions, be given handouts to support their journey and will leave with a clear understanding of the menopause, how it might be impacting them and how to implement changes and get support. The second way is through educational sessions with your colleagues and management.
Many of the symptoms experienced during perimenopause and menopause range from both physical and mental, impacting women on a daily basis leading to potential absence from work.
Working together
I can work with you on a bespoke basis and tailor this to your needs depending on the size of your business and the level of support you would like. This can be done in many different ways such as:
-
Lunch time menopause talks or webinars
-
Interactive sessions in the workplace
-
Educational talks for teams and management
